Our weekly classes are imbued with MINDFULNESS, bringing conscious awareness to each aspect of your experience.

 
 

All classes incorporate Asana, Pranayama and Meditation, ( Click here for more info), helping you to relax and shift into your True Essence of Serenity. By connecting movement with breath we can overcome the fluctuations of the ‘Monkey Mind’ which is where most of your anxieties and fears are created. Through meditation, breathwork and grounding into our bodies, we can encounter a deeper, more intuitive and peaceful experience of life.

All classes are held in the beautiful, hand-built, wooden Yurt, specifically designed to enhance your spiritual practice.

Mindfulness helps you connect with your true essence and gives space to explore your unique expression of creativity. Discovering what makes you tick, where your gift lies, what you can offer back to yourself and the world around you.

Q: What is purpose? A sense of fulfillment, satisfaction & meaning.

Blending a variety of YOGA approaches to offer powerful asanas that build strength and flexibility.
Weekly classes promoting the ‘8 limbed path’ for living a healthier, more connected and fulfilled life. All classes incorporate Asanas, Pranayama and Meditation.

PRANAYAMA

The Sanskrit word Pranayama comes from Prana (life energy) and Ayama (to extend, draw out).

Pranayama exercises help us to clear physical and emotional blocks or obstacles in the body so that the breath, and prana, can flow freely.

"When we practice Pranayama the veil is gradually drawn away from the mind and there is growing clarity. The mind becomes ready for deep meditation" (yoga sutra 2.52)

MEDITATION

MEDITATION to deepen and strengthen your connection to your true, intuitive self.
One to One and Group sessions teaching the foundations of meditation, introducing many different styles of meditating.

This was my first ever experience attending a retreat involving yoga and mindfulness. I have always been fairly active and enjoy a variety of sporting activities. Recently I’ve incurred injuries that have taken much longer to heal than normal. My approach to repair has always been firmly fixed around traditional physiotherapy support and rest. The length of time to get back to my normal routine was becoming increasingly frustrating.
I had heard of the benefits gained from yoga and meditation, but never pursued it any further. I have known Jihan for many years prior to her profession. Opening up to alternative methods of healing can be daunting if you’re unfamiliar with the people presenting the information. Jihan’s ability to make her audience feel incredibly comfortable with new experiences is a gift. I enjoyed a full day yoga, meditation and a creative workshop. The lunch experience was also special and a great opportunity to bond with new people. This will be the first of many for me.
